Information you provide

When you register, Whispr processes your email address and password through its authentication provider. Your profile may include a username, display name, date of birth, country, gender, biography, and avatar. You choose what optional profile information to provide.

Information created through use

To operate the service, Whispr processes the messages, notes, buddy relationships, profile details, and mood selections you submit. The service also receives ordinary technical information needed to deliver pages, maintain security, and diagnose errors. Do not treat anonymous messaging as a guarantee that your identity or content can never be inferred.

How we use information

• To create and secure accounts and provide messaging, notes, profiles, and buddy features.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the service and troubleshoot technical issues.
• To review reports, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, and protect users and the service.
• To communicate about account or service issues.

Service providers and disclosure

Whispr uses Supabase for authentication, database, and related service infrastructure. Information may be processed by providers that help us operate Whispr, and may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, or safety. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and your choices

Information is retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. You can update profile information in the app. To request account or data deletion, contact support@whisprapp.com. Deletion may take time to complete in backups or where retention is legally required.

Security and children

We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Whispr is not for children under 13, and you must meet the minimum age required where you live. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review it.
